Justice League of "DreAm"erica
This week, in case you've been living under a rock for the past year or so, is the week where finally we get a chance to sit down, shovel popcorn into our faces and dive face first into a movie that we've been waiting all of our lives for : Justice League. Okay, fine, you've got us. Only Andrew and Scott are psyched... so sue us!
This week we got to talking about the characters involved, and knowing the characters involved, we started listing off characters that Warner brothers haven't mentioned becoming part of the DCEU.
1) The Martian Manhunter :
Obviously, there is a very strong chance that J'onn J'onzz will eventually be involved in some way, shape or form. Yes, pun intended. The man that we feel would do a great job in this role would be Patrick Warburton (those awesome National Rent a Car commercials). Have you ever listened to him speak? he'd nail it for sure!
2) Green Arrow :
Okay, this one has received some buzz around the interwebs from people pitching Charlie Hunnam (Sons Of Anarchy) in the role and quit frankly, that shit is perfect. he looks just like the comic book version of Oliver Queen. His origin story has changed a few times over the years, but one thing that has stayed true is that he is the voice of reason keeping the JL grounded.
3) Black Canary :
If we have Green Arrow, we gotsta have a Black Canary! We can picture a solo movie where she would go through her training with Wild Cat and become Black Canary. Who could become this character? Wendi McLendon-Covey (the Goldbergs) and because of her attitude, and appearance we think she'd nail it!
4) Batman Inc :
In this group, we want to see as many Batman apprentices as possible. Nightwing could be played by Zac Efron (Baywatch), Batgirl could be played by Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Damien Wayne could be played by Jake Short (A.N.T. Farm), and Corbin Bleu (Highschool Musical) would be an awesome Batwing.
Make sure you check next weeks blog where we talk about movies we'd love to see in the DCEU!
